What is Methane?

I was tasked with designing and animating a brief explainer video on the significant impacts of methane on the environment and human health.

Methane, a greenhouse gas 80 times more potent than carbon dioxide, accelerates climate change and poses serious health risks, including respiratory issues and long-term health complications.

The video aims to raise awareness and encourage proactive measures to mitigate methane’s harmful effects. The process began with gathering research, collaborating with experts in the field to ensure accurate and accessible content.

After co-writing the script, I developed storyboards to visualize the flow of the video. Using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects, styleframes were crafted to establish the art direction.

After multiple rounds of editing and revisions, incorporating feedback, the final product was a compelling and informative video that effectively highlighted the critical issue of methane emissions and their far-reaching consequences.
